Beginner Ballet
Always wanted to try ballet but never had the chance? This class is designed especially for adult beginners—no prior dance experience required! You’ll learn the fundamentals of ballet in a supportive and encouraging environment, building strength, posture, and flexibility while discovering the beauty of classical movement. Step by step, you’ll gain confidence at the barre and in simple center work, all at a pace that feels comfortable. Whether you’re dancing for fitness, creativity, or just for fun, this class is the perfect place to start your ballet journey.
Intermediate Ballet
This class is designed for dancers with some ballet experience who are ready to expand their technique and artistry. We focus on building strength, alignment, and musicality while exploring more challenging combinations at the barre and in the center. Students will refine their balance, coordination, and flexibility, and begin to develop a deeper understanding of classical ballet vocabulary. Ideal for those looking to grow their confidence, grace, and precision in a supportive environment.
Please note that this class is sometimes combined with Adult Beginner Ballet. Our teachers provide more challenging options for those who are ready to progress.
Advanced Ballet with Frank Augustyn
Step into the world of professional-level ballet with Frank Augustyn, one of Canada’s most celebrated dancers. This advanced class is designed for experienced adult dancers who are ready to challenge their technique, artistry, and performance skills. Focusing on precision, strength, and musicality, students will work through demanding barre and center combinations, explore advanced turns and jumps, and refine their classical ballet vocabulary. A rare opportunity to learn from a master and deepen your understanding of ballet at the highest level.
Beginner/Intermediate Contemporary
This class is perfect for dancers who are new to contemporary dance or have some experience and want to build their skills. We focus on developing body awareness, fluidity, and musicality, while exploring fundamental contemporary techniques and creative movement. Students will work on balance, strength, flexibility, and expression, learning to move with intention and confidence. A supportive environment encourages exploration, artistry, and personal growth in dance.
Intermediate Jazz
This class is designed for dancers with some jazz experience who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Students will build on fundamental jazz technique while exploring more complex combinations, turns, jumps, and rhythm patterns. Emphasis is placed on strength, coordination, musicality, and performance quality, all in a fun and supportive environment. Ideal for dancers looking to refine their style, challenge themselves, and gain confidence on the floor.

Mat Pilates
This class focuses on building core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness through controlled, precise movements. Using just a mat, students will work on posture, alignment, and balance while improving strength in the abdomen, back, and supporting muscles. Suitable for all levels, Mat Pilates helps increase stability, prevent injury, and enhance overall body conditioning in a safe and supportive environment.
Advanced Contemporary
Take your contemporary dance practice to the next level in this dynamic class designed for experienced dancers. Working with live percussion, you’ll explore rhythm, timing, and musicality while deepening your technical skills and expressive movement. Advanced combinations challenge your strength, control, and improvisational ability, all in a supportive, creative environment. This class offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with live music and experience contemporary dance in a vibrant, performance-inspired setting.
Beginner/Intermediate Tap
This class is perfect for dancers who are new to tap or have some experience and want to strengthen their skills. Students will learn foundational steps, rhythms, and coordination while developing musicality and timing. Combinations will gradually increase in complexity, helping dancers build confidence, speed, and articulation. A supportive and fun environment encourages creativity and expression through movement and sound.
Salsa
This class focuses on the technical foundations of salsa, including proper footwork, timing, and rhythm, as well as partner connection and lead/follow techniques. Students will work on body alignment, weight transfer, and clean execution of turns, shines, and patterns. Emphasis is placed on precision, musicality, and control, while still maintaining the energy and fun that makes salsa such a dynamic dance form.

Beginner Jazz
Step into the energetic world of jazz dance! This class is designed for adult beginners with little or no previous dance experience. You’ll learn the fundamentals of jazz technique, including isolations, rhythm, and coordination, while having fun with lively combinations and easy-to-follow choreography. The class emphasizes building strength, flexibility, and confidence, all in a supportive and encouraging environment. Perfect for anyone looking to move, groove, and enjoy dance at their own pace.
Advanced Tap
Designed for experienced tap dancers, this class challenges technique, speed, precision, and musicality. Students will explore complex rhythms, syncopation, and intricate combinations while refining articulation, timing, and performance quality. The class encourages creativity and expression, pushing dancers to expand their technical skills and develop a confident, dynamic stage presence.
Beginner Contemporary (40 years + )
This class focuses on maintaining flow and balance as we age, exploring movement that feels good in your own body, with lots of laughs and zero pressure for perfection. It’s a gentle, supportive class that celebrates the joy of dance at every stage of life.
