Erin Atkinson is a professional ballet dancer and a graduate of Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet

School Professional Division. Her career includes seasons with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg

Ballet, Ballet Cymru (UK), Moravské Divadlo Olomouc (Czech Republic), Atlantic Ballet of

Canada, English National Ballet, and Orlando Ballet. She has toured both nationally and

internationally, performing for diverse audiences across North America and Europe.

Erin has performed works by renowned choreographers including George Balanchine, Twyla

Tharp, Lila York, Paul Taylor, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Kenneth Tindall, Mauricio Wainrot, and

James Kudelka, among others. Her repertoire spans both classical and contemporary works

such as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Serenade,

Company B, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Casanova.

As a choreographer, Erin has created award-winning works for festivals, collectives, music

videos, and training programs. She has served as a guest choreographer and

artist-in-residence, and is a recipient of the Canada Games Artistic Excellence Award for her

achievements in dance. Erin is also a STOTT Pilates instructor, specializing in functional

movement and mobility for dancers and athletes.
